01 / PURPOSE FIRST

A good website should help good work move forward.

< mission_first />

Your organization may be doing meaningful work while its website feels outdated, confusing, or hard to use. That can make it harder for people to understand the mission and know how to take part. I start by understanding the organization, then shape a clear, thoughtful website around what people need to know and do.

WHAT A BETTER WEBSITE SHOULD DO

Design should connect to practical outcomes.

A website should make important actions easier for the people you serve and the staff who maintain it.

01

Explain the mission clearly

02

Make registration and forms easier

03

Help first-time visitors know what to expect

04

Make programs and resources easier to find

05

Reduce repetitive staff questions

06

Improve trust and mobile usability

< fair_scope />

Good design should serve good work.

Project cost depends on the scope, complexity, and needs of the organization. I work with organizations of different sizes and resources, and shape each project around what is genuinely useful and sustainable.

Let’s find an approach that respects both the work and the resources available.

In your first conversation, we can talk through what the site needs and what is realistic for your organization.

Personal work. Purposeful design.

When you work with me, you work directly with the designer. I take time to understand the organization before shaping a website that communicates its mission clearly and helps people know what to do next. The goal is thoughtful craftsmanship, practical communication, and a relationship that can continue beyond launch.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few things you may want to know before reaching out.

You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting a conversation.

How much does a website cost?

Every project is scoped individually based on the size, complexity, content, and functionality involved. The scope and price are agreed before work begins.

Can you redesign our current website?

Yes. A redesign can preserve what is already useful while improving the structure, mobile experience, visual presentation, content flow, and functionality that needs attention.

Can we edit the website ourselves?

When self-managed content is important, the project can include a content management setup for the pages and information your team needs to update regularly.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. Ongoing support can cover content changes, maintenance, new functionality, troubleshooting, and continued improvements when that is useful for the organization.

Do you only work with churches and nonprofits?

Churches, nonprofits, ministries, and community organizations are the primary focus, while select businesses and other mission-driven organizations can still be a good fit.

What is the free demo?

It is a tailored concept intended to help you see a possible direction before committing. It is not a finished production website, and final scope and pricing are discussed separately.
