How it works
From your hall to a pew in four steps
Most students book once and then ride the same van all semester.
Step 1: Book by Saturday, 9 PM
Use the form above or text the van line. Tell us which church, or let us pick.
Step 2: Get the Saturday text
Your van number and driver's name arrive Saturday night.
Step 3: Be at the flagpole by 9:35
Vans leave at 9:40 sharp from the circle by the flagpole. Drivers wait two minutes, not ten.
Step 4: Ride back, then eat
Back on campus by 1:30. Sunday plate is upstairs at 5:30 if you're still hungry.

Sunday, 5:20 PM
The Garnett Chapel kitchen crew lays out the pans. Mother Lomax guards the cobbler until grace.
Sunday plate
Supper upstairs at 5:30, cooked by a church kitchen
Every Sunday in term, one of our partner churches drives a full supper over in foil pans: smothered chicken, baked spaghetti, greens, cornbread, sometimes a pound cake still warm. It is free, it is for any student, and you do not have to have ridden the van.
Around fifty students eat most weeks. Bring your own container if you want to take some back for the week.
- Sundays 5:30 to 7:00 PM, upstairs
- Vegetarian plate every week, just ask
- Text by 3 PM if you need a plate held
- Leftovers go home with whoever needs them
Van questions
Before you ride
What if I miss the van?
Call (555) 014-6619 before 9:50 and a staff car will try to get you there. After that, we'll see you next week.
Can I bring a friend who hasn't booked?
Yes, if there's a seat. There usually is.
Can I switch churches?
Any week. Many students try all four before they settle.
Are the vans accessible?
Van 2 has a wheelchair lift. Note it on the form and we'll send that one.
