Sunday Celebration Service · live from Bissonnet Street
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM Central we stream the whole Celebration Service, from opening praise to the final grace. That is 4:00 PM in Lagos and Ibadan, or 5:00 PM once Houston leaves daylight time. Many of your aunties are already watching, and the chat host greets them by name.

The week at Redeemed Harvest
Midweek meetings are shorter than Sunday and finish by 8:30 PM so you can still cook. The 5:30 AM prayer line is a phone call: dial in, keep your camera off, pray before the traffic starts.

Your first Sunday
The doors open at 8:45 and Sunday School begins at 9. The Celebration Service runs from 10:00 until about 12:30, and nobody will mind if you step out to feed a baby or take a call from home.
You will see agbada and gele next to jeans and scrubs. Wear what you have. An usher in a burgundy sash will find you a seat, bring you a program, and ask your name once so the pastor can welcome you properly during announcements.
Where people belong
In a Nigerian church you find your people through a department. Pick one and come to its next meeting; somebody will save you a chair.

Sundays · 10:00 AM
Ages 3 to 12 in the side building, with Bible stories, choruses and snacks. Parents get a numbered tag at drop-off.

Saturdays · 4:00 PM
The choir and band. Highlife, gospel and the old hymns in English, Yoruba and Igbo. No audition, but come to two rehearsals before you sing on a Sunday.

Sundays · 10:30 AM
Ages 13 to 18 meet upstairs for their own service and come down for the altar call. Pastor Kelechi runs it with a team of university students.

Second Saturday · 11:00 AM
The women's fellowship: prayer, a teaching, and a long lunch. They also run the welfare cupboard for new arrivals.

Last Saturday · 7:30 AM
Breakfast, a short word and an honest talk about work, marriage and fathering. The yam and egg is better than it needs to be.
Testimony time

Twice I failed the NCLEX. The church prayed with me every Thursday at Faith Clinic. Third time, I passed, and I started at Memorial Hermann the next month.

My father watches from Abeokuta every Sunday. When the usher read his name on the stream for his eightieth birthday, he called me crying.

I came to Houston with two suitcases and no friends. The Good Women had a mattress and a pot of stew at my apartment before I unpacked.

This month's word
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy.
Twelve living rooms across Houston, from Katy to Pearland, meet on Friday evenings for prayer, the word and small chops.
Design notes
A website for a Nigerian Pentecostal parish in southwest Houston whose online congregation is as real as the room: parents in Lagos and Ibadan, students in Lubbock, nurses coming off night shift. The livestream leads, and everything else hangs off the weekly rhythm of Sunday service, midweek meetings, house fellowships and the monthly Holy Ghost Service.
Unbounded carries the headlines. It is wide and confident, like the vinyl banners that go up for Harvest Thanksgiving, and its round shapes stay friendly at very large sizes. Schibsted Grotesk does the reading because announcements here run long and need to stay plain. Azeret Mono sets times and chapter marks so Central and West Africa Time line up in neat columns.
The palette comes from a Sunday morning in the parking lot: emerald from the green-white-green flag pins on lapels, aso-oke gold from the women's gele, and a deep Ankara magenta. The site opens in its dark theme because most visitors meet it through the livestream at night or early morning, and the gold reads like stage light on the dark green. The light theme swaps gold for emerald so body text keeps strong contrast.
A classic top bar, because the congregation spans three generations and nobody should have to hunt. There are seven pages, named the way members talk: Sundays, House fellowships, Holy Ghost Service, Testimonies, Tithes and offerings. The single button in the bar is Watch live, since on any given Sunday more people join online than sit in the room.
The home page opens on the stream itself, full width, with the chapters of the service running underneath: praise, testimonies, the word, ministration. A two-and-a-half-hour service is honest about its length, and the chapter strip lets someone in Ibadan jump straight to the sermon on a weak connection.
Each button names one real thing: Watch live, Find a fellowship near you, Send a prayer point, Pay tithe or offering. Prayer point is the phrase members actually use, and tithe is named directly because members ask for it by name.
Photographs show West African worship in white garments and full voice, people being prayed for, and families after service. We avoided stock crowds under concert lights; the energy here comes from choirs and aisles, not from stage haze.
Every stream chapter is a real button, and the live badge announces itself to screen readers. Dark and light themes both pass AA contrast for body text, the gold is never used for small text on white, and every time is written out with its time zone so relatives abroad do not have to do the arithmetic.
Every text pairing is checked against WCAG 2.2 in both themes.
