A church built around a table
We are farmers, teachers, retirees and kids who have all pulled up a chair. Here is how our table grew.

How we got here
In 2011 a retired schoolteacher named Ruth opened her farmhouse kitchen on Wednesday nights. Ten neighbors came for soup. The next week there were twenty, and a few brought bread.
When the soup outgrew the kitchen we moved into an old dairy barn on Hollow Road. The congregation grew around the supper, not the other way around.
Today we worship on Sunday, feed hundreds each month and grow vegetables behind the barn. We hope that when you sit with us you feel what we all felt: someone saved you a place.

Our table rules
Everyone eats
No one pays, proves or explains.
Everyone helps
Peeling carrots counts as ministry.
Everyone belongs
Newcomers, regulars and the shy are equally welcome.
Nothing wasted
We steward food, time and people with care.

What we hold to
- God made the world good and invites us to care for it.
- Jesus welcomed outsiders and ate with them.
- The Bible is our story, read together and lived out.
- Communion is a table where all are fed.
- The church is a family, and families share food.
Every gift keeps the table full
Plan on a warm welcome, a plate of something good and no pressure to be anyone but yourself.
