A little church on a big porch
We are not trying to be big. We are trying to be close.

Why Gather exists
Gather started in 2016 when four couples decided that the best church would be one where you could walk to your small group. They set a chair on a porch and invited everyone on the block.
We have been small on purpose. We rent a bright room in a community center on Haywood Road and spend our energy on people, not property.
If you are tired of church, we get it. If you are new to church, we get that too. Come as you are and we will figure it out together.

What we believe
- God loves the world and is making all things new.
- Jesus shows us what God is like.
- The Bible is the story we are part of.
- The Spirit gives each person gifts for the good of others.
- The church is a family you can be honest with.
